• Maintain network windows domain controller
• Maintain MS Exchange mail system
• Maintain Scope Systems - Critical internal services: Network users and PC clients, phone system, Kermit Access (Windows servers)
• Provide printer support
• Monitor all backup routines for Windows servers: add yourself to mail group to receive notification; investigate errors; monitor records and recommend improvements
• Ensure Trend antivirus suite kept up to date
• Take over outstanding tasks from the incumbent, per his service register tasks
• Review total security of Scope Systems environment and recommend improvements
• Ensure all MS patches have been applied to clients and servers
• Do Activefax set-up and support
• Design and implement a disaster recovery plan at Scope Systems to cater for any eventuality and advise on disaster recovery procedures
• Recommend and set up SOE for all users
• Monitor internet bandwidth usage and disable band-width hogging activity such as MSN messenger, interactive games, sport, etc
• Implement tools to monitor and report on traffic per user

To be part of our elite team, you will ideally have:-

• Experience with PRONTO, SAP, MIMS, JDE, BPCS or ORACLE
• Implementation skills in Accounting, Supply Chain, HR, Project Costing and Plant Maintenance
• Training and Support Skills
• Strong Accounting Background
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Well-developed problem-solving skills
